Dr. Dara Darabi grew up in Southern California. He was drawn to a career in healthcare because it allowed him to combine his passion for science with his desire to work closely with people. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in physics and biochemistry before attending the Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, Nebraska. While in dental school, he received multiple scholarships and awards for his achievements in restorative dentistry.

After graduating, Dr. Darabi moved to western Massachusetts, where he worked in a community clinic before opening his own practices in Springfield, Turners Falls, Ludlow, and Florence. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) and has been recognized as an AGD Fellow since 2013. In 2024, he achieved his Mastership in the AGD, an honor earned by only 2% of the dentists. Despite this high achievement, Dr. Darabi continues to attend numerous continuing education courses and seminars each year to ensure that his patients benefit from the latest advancements, techniques, and technologies in dentistry.

Dr. Darabi has also received advanced training in oral and implant surgeries, All on X full mouth rejuvination, orthodontic and temporomandibular joint (TMJ) therapies, and dental sleep medicine.

He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine (D.ABDSM), Diplomate of the International Academy of Sleep (D.IAOS) and a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) and America Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM).
